Elena Dementieva has moved to No. 6 in the WTA World Rankings as of today, July 10. This movement in the ranking is due to Elena Dementieva's nice run to her first ever quarterfinal at Wimbledon. She has moved 2 places up in the ranking system.
Also, with her successful run in Wimbledon, Elena became the first Russian woman to cross the $7,000,000 mark in prize money.
